Levitt & Sons broke ground in the fifties, the first homes sold in 1958, and the township went by Levittown for four years before voters took the old name back in 1963. The layout still gives it away. Streets in Pennypacker Park start with P, streets in Buckingham start with B, and people here navigate by park instead of by address.
What you miss driving Route 130 is the food. Turkish grill, scratch-made soups, pizza, desserts, all within a few minutes of each other, most of it run by families who live here. Willingboro has no downtown strip to walk, so nothing announces itself. You have to know where to go. That is what this page is for.
